tebori

i've been doing tebori style tattooing (or handpoked) for about 20 years now. this process takes a much longer time, but it does allow for bragging rights. tebori is the style many cultures use, like all those amazing traditional japanese artists like horiyoshi III. I do offer this in addition to electric tattooing but it works on a very different pricing scale. the experience of tebori could be more or less painful than the electric method depending on the person, but with both you are getting a beautiful, clean and professional piece. this is NOT jailhouse style. i use the same needle setups and inks as i would with electric tattooing and everything is still completely sterile. if you're interested, shoot me an email. (the above piece was handpoked in two sessions and is awaiting shading)
